1. Parties and acceptance
These terms govern the relationship between GUIDE PLAYER LLC ("GUIDE PLAYER LLC", "we") and anyone using the GUIDE PLAYER apps (the "App") or this website (the "Site") ("you"). By downloading, installing or using the App you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App and remove it from your device.
The terms of the app store you downloaded from (Google Play, App Store) also apply. Where they conflict with these terms, the mandatory provisions of the store terms prevail.
2. What the App is
GUIDE PLAYER is a media player only. GUIDE PLAYER LLC does not provide, sell, host, broadcast, distribute or link to television channels, movies, series, playlists, programme guide data, subscriptions or any other content. The App contains no preloaded content or content sources.
All content played in the App comes from third-party sources that you choose and add yourself and that GUIDE PLAYER LLC does not control. GUIDE PLAYER LLC does not monitor, approve, recommend or endorse those sources.
3. Conditions of use
- You must be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your country.
- You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
- You must comply with the laws that apply to you when using the App.
4. Your responsibility for content
You agree and undertake that you will:
- only add content sources you are legally entitled to watch,
- not use the App to access content that infringes copyright, related rights, trademarks or broadcasting rights,
- check for yourself that the sources you add are lawful and consistent with your agreement with the provider.
You bear all legal, criminal and financial responsibility for the content you add and how you use it.
5. Prohibited uses
You must not:
- use the App to access, copy or distribute unlawful content;
- promote the App as part of a service selling unauthorised content or subscriptions, distribute it with preloaded playlists, or market it as "loaded";
- use the GUIDE PLAYER name, logo or look to imply a connection with GUIDE PLAYER LLC;
- try to bypass the App's security measures, add malicious code or attack the Site;
- use other people's account details without permission.
We and rights holders reserve all rights in case of breach.
6. Software licence
Subject to these terms, GUIDE PLAYER LLC grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, free licence to use the App on devices you own or control for personal purposes.
The App includes open-source components under their own licences, and nothing in these terms restricts the rights those licences grant you. In particular, the Android TV app includes code licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3 (GPLv3), which you may use, study, modify and distribute under the GPLv3. See open-source licences for details and source code requests.
Except as permitted by those open-source licences, you may not copy, sell or distribute GUIDE PLAYER's original components, brand or artwork without permission.
7. Intellectual property and trademarks
The GUIDE PLAYER name and logo and the design and text of this Site belong to GUIDE PLAYER LLC and may not be used without written permission. Third-party names and marks mentioned on the Site or in the App, such as Android, Android TV, Google TV, Google Play, YouTube, iPhone, iPad, App Store, TMDB and OpenSubtitles, belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility or sources; this does not imply endorsement of GUIDE PLAYER LLC by those companies.
Channel names, logos, artwork and content shown in the App come from the sources you add and do not belong to GUIDE PLAYER LLC.
8. Third-party services
For optional features such as movie details, subtitles, trailers or weather, the App may use third-party services. Their availability, accuracy and terms are the responsibility of those third parties and may change or end without notice. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Subtitle search is powered by OpenSubtitles.com and works under your own account, their terms and quotas.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available". GUIDE PLAYER LLC makes no express or implied warranty that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, compatible with every device or service, or as to the legality, accuracy, quality or availability of content you access.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GUIDE PLAYER LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or inability to use the App or Site, from content or services you add, or for loss of data, loss of profit or indirect damages. As the App is provided free of charge, GUIDE PLAYER LLC's total liability is in any event limited to USD 100.
These limits do not affect liability for intent or gross negligence, or mandatory rights such as those under consumer law that cannot be limited by contract.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover losses and reasonable legal costs arising from claims against GUIDE PLAYER LLC caused by your breach of these terms or of third-party rights (in particular copyright).
12. Changes and termination
GUIDE PLAYER LLC may change the App's features, stop development or update these terms. The current terms are published on this page; continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the new terms. Your licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may end the relationship at any time by uninstalling the App.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules; the state and federal courts located in Wyoming have jurisdiction over disputes. This choice does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections granted by the law of their country of residence. Consumers resident in Türkiye retain the right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts under Law No. 6502.
14. General
If any provision is held invalid, the rest remain in effect. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. If the Turkish and English versions conflict, the Turkish version prevails for users resident in Türkiye; otherwise the English version prevails.
